4th Annual I See You Awards® Ceremony Reaches a Worldwide Audience!

Updated: Oct 17, 2020

Phil Elam and Terri Lee Chandler co-hosted the 4th Annual I See You Awards®

Wow. After nearly a year of planning, and coming close to canceling this year’s awards ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 4th Annual I See You Awards® came to a close on Sunday, August 30, 2020.

We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s week-long film festival, which culminated in Sunday’s awards ceremony, a tremendous success. We sincerely appreciate everyone who streamed a film(s) online, everyone who voted for the People’s Choice awards, everyone who liked and/or shared our posts, read our blog, subscribed to our website, followed us on social media, etc. And, of course, we sincerely appreciate everyone who watched our virtual awards ceremony. Producing the show is always a labor of love, so to know that the show has been watched by more than 628 people (as of this writing) and counting, truly makes our day. We were absolutely thrilled to know that the ceremony was viewed live by people throughout the United States and by people all around the world, including Australia, Germany and Great Britain!

Thank you to our small but hardworking behind-the-scenes team of Tonya Shirelle, Cliniquka McCall, Barry Ryan and Dexter Chandler for everything they did to ensure our live stream was a success.

Of course, there would be no I See You Awards® without the independent film community. So, a big THANK YOU to all of the indie filmmakers who participated this year and every year prior. We see you and we will continue to support you!

As always, thank you to this year’s sponsors: the Michigan Film & Digital Media Office, Emagine Entertainment, Final Draft, Paramount, and WWJ Newsradio 950, with additional partners Randazzo Formal Wear, The Lee Group, ES Communications Agency, Street Credit Detroit and Casey Sign Company.
