With 2020 being nothing like we've ever experienced, we wanted to find out what independent filmmakers have to be thankful for this year. In the latest edition of my podcast, Terri Talks Movies, we hear from indie filmmaker Kyle Couch, who told us that despite everything that's been happening this year, he has plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Couch, whose very first feature film, The Tent, collected five awards at the 4th annual I See You Awards® virtual awards ceremony in August, also gave me the lowdown on how he and his team landed a sales agent and gained distribution for their film. As I told him during our conversation, that's quite an accomplishment!
